Product update - April 2025
April marks a significant milestone for us with our rebrand from Blogtally to Hakanai and the introduction of a new, more competitive pricing structure for Pulse. We've also enhanced our analytics capabilities to make your data more actionable. Here's what's new this month:
From Blogtally to Hakanai
As you may have noticed, we've rebranded from Blogtally.com to Hakanai.io. This change reflects our evolution and growing feature set.
While we're not covering the full details in this update, we'll publish a dedicated article soon explaining the reasoning behind the rebrand and what it means for our product direction.
All Blogtally.com URLs now redirect to Hakanai.io, and your login credentials remain the same.
Dedicated Insights Page for Each Site
Each tracked site now has its own dedicated insights page, providing a comprehensive view of your site's performance in one place.
The insights page offers:
- Clear overview of key metrics (views, new pages, reading time, traffic sources)
- Year-over-year comparison data to track growth
- Content performance analysis showing your most viewed and read articles
- Traffic evolution charts to spot trends
This consolidated view makes it easier to understand how your content performs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Improved Referrer Tracking
We've enhanced our referrer tracking with better categorization and more detailed information about your traffic sources.
The updated referrer tracking now:
- Groups traffic by source type (search, direct, referrer, others)
- Shows percentage distribution of traffic sources
- Provides specific referrer data with exact visit counts
- Displays new traffic sources to help identify emerging channels
These improvements help you better understand where your audience comes from and which channels drive the most engagement.
What's Next?
I'm already hard at work on new features for the coming months. As always, your feedback shapes our roadmap, so please continue sharing your ideas on our feedback platform.
